[TechAssist] CTC177AA Chassis, channels won't stay programmed in.

Hi fellow techs,
This RCA TV came in with no picture but the sound was working. No video
problem (turned out to be missing Y component) was solved by replacing
the eeprom. But now when I program channels in, the menu says they are
stored but when the programning is finished the channels are not
programmed in. Any ideas? TIA
