Just because I don't have a bunch of "Certifications" to add to my sig doesn't mean I don't know what I'm doing, OK? Give me just about any MCSE or A+ test and I'll pass it with flying colors... I *was* using a cable-select cable - took me a little while to find one here locally as many shops simply don't "deal" with the cable-select function... As for the solution to this Fujitsu drive dilemma - If you have any ideas, I'd sure like to hear them... I've gone round-n-round with Fujitsu tech support and have spoken to other experienced PC techs - nobody seems to have any answers to this problem... As I've said, I've been doing this a long time and, except for various problems with WD drives, I've *never* run across this problem before - It seems to be specific to certain Fujitsu drives...
