I'm not sure if the CD3000 optics is made by Sony or not but most all Bose CD players have Sony optics installed. There is probably a paper label on the optics with a KSS-XXXX number and the popular ones are available from various parts suppliers. The parts from Bose direct is P/N 146074 and comes as a complete ASSY with spin motor, tracking motor etc on a chassis for about 35.00 ASC price. Jim Myers Since 1972 Telrad Electronic Services Co.
