[TechAssist] Audiovox AVT-1940, 20" TV, loss of audio.

I have spent too much time on this set already, but the repair seemed so
simple. When you flex the cable going into the tuner the audio went
from a hissing noise to good audio. After soldering the tuner made no
difference, I then realized touching the PCB anywhere made the audio
come and go. I then soldered the whole jungle IC and associated
components with no difference. I hate to give up on such an "easy"
repair. This is a shot in the dark, but has anyone had this problem
with this model? Thanks.
