Turns out we had a Sony motor is stock that did the trick, but thanks for
the offer. Also thanks to others who replied and the one who sent a parts
breakdown.

Jim, I found an Aiwa 5 CD changer in my bone yard, taken from the top of an
Aiwa compact that's long gone, so I haven't got the model #....BUT the
spindle motor is mounted to a ckt board with what looks like an identical
motor that slides the sled back & forth...the number on the two motor ass'y
