I used to depend on that reading on my old VTVMs and VOMs but it varies
so much between digital meters, I find the reading useless.

Eric I measured 4 different 3.6 volt zeners and had reverse 600K on each
one. 
I then measured some 10 volt and they had no reverse readings.

Hi am I supposed to get reverse leakage on this diode I am getting 100 k
on it and also 2 more new diodes .On a 10 volt zener I dont get any back
reading.Is this normal on a 3 volt diode.This diode is in a ctc169
direct view diode# CR4122--rca#200158.anyone have one they can measure
the forward and back to check it for me,,Thanks Eric
