I don't have the RCA part nor do I have a 3volt
zenier, but I have a 5volt and this is my findings.
Fluke model 87III:
on DIODE test.
negative on cathode= 680 which is normal.
Positive on cathode = infinity , normal
On auto ohms setting.
negative on cathode== 2.434 meg
positive on cathode== 7.54 meg.
make sure you don't hold both meter probes in your
hands(the tips). that makes it read less than a meg
both directions.
