Have seen Intermittent Resistors & Diodes too. If you take the Needlenose
and grab the leed where it meets the Component, and Twist it slightly - they
open up.
More Common On Diodes of a certain batch from a Certain Mfr on older Stuff,
but Resistors will usually show physical signs of Wear or just measure
completely open.
Make Sure your Meter Leeds arent intermittent too. Recently had a pair of
Test Probes from Radio Shack that were intermittent, and drove me nuts
almost to the point of Retiring Early :o)
