There are some Emerson's that are the same I will try and explain the
chassis to you. It has a switch
mode that did go bad allot. It is the kind that just plugged into place and
almost always had a build up of black carbon on the silver connectors. It is
the one with the long shaft connected to a worm gear that reaches from front
to back of the chassis. The sticker on the chassis says DK-WX10-02948. The
black gear is about the size of a quarter or so it is the gear that only
moves on the carriage. It is the gear that connects the Large metal and
plasic gear to the white gear that is what actually moves the carriage in
and out. If you need me to I can try to take a digital picture and send it
to you directly.
