If it isn't worth that to the customer then it isn't worth it to me either. Yes I hear the same "I can buy a new one at W.M. for ----. As with most of these discussions, we know all areas of the 50 states are not the same. I can buy a house in many parts of the country for $100,000 or less. The median price for houses in the area where I live is $400,000. Not because they are worth it but because that is what the market will bare. I obviously do not live in a median priced home. The point is that there are many factors in the equation of trying to survive. Because I charge more than someone else doesn't make it a standard for anyone else. My expenses are more than many others. I am struggling like everyone else to stay afloat. I wish it were different and we could all make a decent living where ever we may live.
