I've discussed with DfT and it would seem that the equipment doesn't
comply with TSRGD. I've also discussed with SRL who have taken it up
with the EC.......

Sounds suspect to me Tony.

One wonders about the statutory advertising required, the approval
status,
the obstructions to vehicles/pedestrians..................

I have not even seen a brochure.
Any website address?

Have just been sent the catalogue of SRL portable signals.

The accompanying letter highlights how their 'PEDLIGHT' system can
provide benefits at permanents.

The accompanying photograph, however, shows a far side RM/GM unit
mounted on a portable 'radio' trailer but with a N/S (AGD?) ped call
box!

Anyone any experience of using/seeing these in action??
