Below is a map of where my "Eggscape Velocity" night rocket landed... in
the field that was completely flooded.   Apparently it landed pretty close
to one of the roads, but we couldn't go that way on Saturday night because
the road was flooded along with the field.   I found out what happens when
that dry clay soil gets wet... it's like a layer of glue a foot thick.  I
fell flat of my a$$ after taking one step... so going 600' to get it was
just not going to happen.

If one of you gets a chance next launch to see if it's there, I'd
appreciate it.   If you find it, let me know, it's a purple 2.6" rocket
with a white nose cone, natural fiberglass payload bay, and a white chute
that was apparently too big for the conditions Saturday night.   I'll pick
it up at October Skies... it should be pretty easy to get going again.
