did i mention that i am a graphic artist at a printing firm in hot springs...i have an idea of how heavy that crap is...and how much heavier it amazingly gets once you put that thin, thin layer of ink on it. it's amazing how after you fold a job how the fold line is thicker than teh other side when you stack the finished peice i though you strictly did t-shirts...that' pretty cool we will have something to talk about at the next psychoblooieluau Date: Tue, 22 Jan 2008 08:38:37 -0800 From: mechmark@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [tcb] Re: wish the bus was going... To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx I have been a commercial printer for the last 29 years and I hauled a lot of paper in the bed of that truck. Do you have any idea how much paper weighs. It had a 1/2 ton front suspension and a 3/4 ton rear suspension. never hit the over load springs on the truck but ran it across the scales once with a load on. 2400 pounds of paper. I'm suprised I never did really break anything in the suspension. I miss that truck. To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Hey, I drove my last 1990 Chevy truck for 13 years and never even pulled a valve cover, Did have to replace the tranny after 213,000 miles. Also 2 drive shafts, 3 sets of rear axle bearings (I hauled a lot of paper), 1 radiator, Lost count of how many batteries, 2 drive shaft carrier bearings, 1 water pump. Never did have the front end aligned, never needed it. So all and all I say it was a god truck. Haven't decided about the 03 that I drive now. seems a little wimpy to me. May have to go Toyota Tundra next time, Denis seems to have good luck with his. sammie smith <bugcollections@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: Wash your mouth out with soap Mark!
