did i mention that i am a graphic artist at a printing firm in hot springs...i
have an idea of how heavy that crap is...and how much heavier it amazingly gets
once you put that thin, thin layer of ink on it. it's amazing how after you
fold a job how the fold line is thicker than teh other side when you stack the
finished peice

i though you strictly did t-shirts...that' pretty cool we will have something
to talk about at the next psychoblooieluau

I have been a commercial printer for the last 29 years and I hauled a lot of
paper in the bed of that truck. Do you have any idea how much paper weighs. It
had a 1/2 ton front suspension and a 3/4 ton rear suspension. never hit the
over load springs on the truck but ran it across the scales once with a load
on. 2400 pounds of paper. I'm suprised I never did really break anything in the
suspension. I miss that truck.

about that??? 150k on an 11 year old truck the past two years i have averaged
30k a year. the clutch is starting to slip but other than that and the other
disclosed things
that's it...it's had 4 sets of tires on it and has been aligned once. no
driveshaft nothings, no bearing nothings. it's been a great truck for what it
is. can't pull busses with it's wimpy 2.3l 4cyl though. but i have hauled a ton
of fencing material in the bed before...the back end was draging on speedbumps
but it hauled it like nothing was even there.

Hey, I drove my last 1990 Chevy truck for 13 years and never even pulled a
valve cover, Did have to replace the tranny after 213,000 miles. Also 2 drive
shafts, 3 sets of rear axle bearings (I hauled a lot of paper), 1 radiator,
Lost count of how many batteries, 2 drive shaft carrier bearings, 1 water pump.
Never did have the front end aligned, never needed it. So all and all I say it
was a god truck. Haven't decided about the 03 that I drive now.
seems a little wimpy to me. May have to go Toyota Tundra next time, Denis
seems to have good luck with his.

not so related bus story about how i wish the bus was going:

i was driving home from work yesterday in the danger ranger. when i hit the
interstate the battery light started flickering. the closer to 80 i got the
more steady teh light would be. i get into benton and get off the interstate
and pull off and rev the motor to the 70mph rpm but nothing happens, no light
nothing. so i get back on the interstate and try to get it to do it and sure
nough it does it in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, it flickered a bit in 4th and then when i
went into overdrive it woudl just flicker every once in a while. so i get off
at bryant (10 miles down the road) pull into a gas station cause i need gas.
pop the hood and i rev the motor in hopes that the belt i slipping. i look down
and sparks are shooting out of a spark plug wire.

so i get home i wrap the wire in electrical tape to get through the week and am
dreading having to change 8 plugs and wires on a friggin' 4-banger. and i
am dreading the $175 price of the altenator too.

if the bus was running i would just say screw it and take the bus...i'd rather
freeze my ass off then worry about being stranded

i'm going to work now...say a prayer, wish me luck...AHHHHH!!!!
