Actually, I was arrested because of the pot that they saw in the parcel tray. But the cop who wrote me a ticket for speeding in Bandon called ahead to tell them that a heavily armed car thief was coming their way.

I like some of the custom interiors you see in Total VW, and the other British mag. There are alot of quirks with the original layout that you can fix when you design your own.

The side closet is a perfect example. How often do you camp with clothes that require hanging up? Never, so you use it for other stuff, but it is such an akward space that it is limited on what it can neatly hold, as well as severely limiting the width of the bed. Hardly worth the blind spot it creates.

Keep and store the OG stuff if you can, but there is nothing wrong with building yourself a more useable/comfortable space.
