you have to remove and replace the transaxle.

The Slider is moved with a shift fork and typically the end teeth get worn which causes the pop out

Net Net, transaxle rebuild time or find a good used 3 rib for your bus.

new seals, new synchros and a new "3/4 slider" (whatever that is)

You'll need to R&R the Transaxle and install new synchros and get the 3/4 slider replaced or machined.
