Don't get set off. I have been intrigued by a shorty. I think that it would be easy. Just cut a slice off of the middle. There is no drivetrain. I guess you would have to use a bus that had no chance for a life except as an amputee. The weight would be more like a big Bug. I would look at it like a baja. ----- Original Message ----- From: Shelby Shook To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, April 02, 2007 7:06 PM Subject: [tcb] Re: thinkin' about a shorty If I wasn't serious I wouldn't have made this post. I've looked for some shortys and have only found one and it was pretty far away...I'm sure there have been quite a few made but I can't find them any where. I don't really see her speeding around corners. And wouldn't you rather have a bus made into something rather than just sitting somewhere or being crushed so it can sit somewhere else in pieces and not even resemble what it once was? I know I asked for your opinion and thanks for it, but the "are you serious?" thing kinda just set me off. And hell, if she dosn't like it and it turns out impractical then I'll sell it or keep it for fun. peace, Shelby On 4/2/07, Eric Woodall <eric@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: 1) They would probably make a pretty bad vehicle, cornering wise. 2) There are plenty of shorty buses that are already made (don't cut up a bus to make one.) 3) Make sure you don't make one out of a split. 4) Are you serious? > I was talking to Amanda today about what car should would like for he > first > car, and we were thinking about VW trucks, and she really likes the double > cabs (who dosn't) but they're so pricey.
