The terms are used interchangeable but technically it is a stabilizer bar not a sway bar. The term "sway bar" in incorrect as the device does not induce sway it reduces it. It should be "Anti-Sway bar" or stabilizer. ----- Original Message ----- From: Brian Denning To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, December 07, 2007 10:12 AM Subject: [tcb] suspension question what's the difference between a "stabilizer bar" and a "sway bar" according to the bently i have a stabilizer bar but i noticed that CIP1 calls it a sway bar, aircooled.net calls it a sway bar and here is why i am second guessing busdepot.com has a stabilizer bar installation kit (requires 2) or a swaybar installation kit (complete set) what's the difference....they look the same i need bushings for mine and clamps so what's the difference? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Share life as it happens with the new Windows Live.
