people!
Thanks to Steve and Sharon for the Mexican dinner Friday night, it was
absolutely wonderful.
Thanks to Chuck and Sue for the spectacular fireworks display. Whata blast!
Glad you got the bus.
And to everyone else, thank you for making the weekend so memorable.
Lessons learned: Splitties, Bays, and Vanagons really do coexist. Never
wash an iron skillet with soapy water. And, never let Steve operate the
garbage disposal unsupervised, or be prepared to take the fall.

Bev and I made it back to Nac. She's now on her way back to Austin. Lots of
rain on the way home through AR, OK and TX. Rain this morning (4:00am) hard at
Denis' Lots of fun, lots of fireworks and lots of good people. Now it will
take a week to rest up. Wish I coulda spent a week on Denis' deck overlooking
the lake and the northwest AR hills. Makes me wish I still lived up there.
Cept in the wintertime of course. But thanks to Denis and Jan for being such
greats hosts to a bunch of bus nuts.
