Brian,
I just pulled off the stock front rotor and calibers from an '89 vanagon to
upgrade to smallcar parts. Pads are too spent but the rest seems good. Not
sure if they work for you but they're yours for the calling. Cost? Oh, maybe
a sixpack of Shiner to be shared at the Classic. ;)

engine rebuild kit (pistons, cylinders, bearings (Cam & Crank), gaskets,
valves, guides)
Oil Cooler
Oil Pump
lifters
push rods
oil pressure sensor
distributor cap and rotar(sp?)
and one heat exchanger.
for brakes:
master cylinder
wheel cylinders (all four corners totaling 8)
shoes (front and rear)
hardware kits (front and rear)
what needs to be added?
