The park is setting up work days for volunteers if anyone is interested in
donating some time or money.
OurScout Troop spent some time out there a couple weekends ago, filling in
burned out stump holes
and cleaning up trash. Every little bit helps.

The storms which rolled through Texas recently hammered Bastrop State Park
again.
The pictures of Park Road 1A (in the friends of lost pines link) shows how
fragile the park is right now.
(Note: This is the road along which we were working)
Pretty amazing.
