For those of you who responded to the request for the date; thanks. It's
looks like everyone who did is in favor of March 26. Just for you bus
guys: This is a perfect date for East Texas blooms, both Azaleas and
Dogwoods and there are two parks within a fairly short distance of Nac that
are ideal campgrounds. One is the Mission Tejas State Historical Park
located in Weches on highway 21 west of Nacogdoches. The other is Ratcliff
Recreation Area located west of Nacogdoches on highway 7 about 1 mile west
of Kennard. Both of these parks are in the Davy Crockett National
Forest. Weches is a state park and Ratcliff is a National Forest rec
area. Both are very nice campgrounds among the beautiful East Texas forests.

The only disadvantage is that they are both about 35 miles from
Nacogdoches, but well worth the 40+ minute drive into Nac. When it gets
closer to the show date if you bus guys/gals want to work up a campout at
one of these parks I can provide you more info if needed.
