i know where there are two 40's style school busses at similar to those. i've always loved that chop top shrunk dragster bus that is floating on the internet.

Sammie,

Did I ever show you pictures of my dream bus?  I'd like to make it
into a guest house but my hubby says "No way!"  I picture a hot tub in
place of the engine - just envision the hood down while the hot tub
warms up and the steam sneaking out like an over heating engine.  I
just need $500 (it's value in scrap metal), a paint scraper, a broom
and a new mattress and I would be in all set.

One of the neat things I saw in CA was 2 unique busses!  Yeah, CA, OCTO,
Classic and all that you are supposed to see neat busses, right.  Well,
these were different. Cruising down Beach Blvd near Huntington beach and I 
see 2 school busses.  What's unique about that?  Well, they were retro
busses.  Looked just like the style of city busses in the late 40's and
50's. Just like the one Rosa Parks rode. You know the look, rounded back, 
funky front with small windshields.  But these guys looked brand new, all
yellow school busses with the white top and the name of the school painted
on the side and loaded with kids going down Beach Blvd.  Looked like the
50's all over again.  Think all schools should get these.  Really neat
school bus.
