Like you said, they are already top heavy and have plenty of ground clearance. If you want a bus to go offroading in then get a syncro. Hmmm, I wonder if there would be anyway to transplant a syncro drive train under a bay window???Brian Denning <i_am_cool_fred@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: ok i have seen talk about this on the samba and on dac but i have adifferent kind of question. if i jacked up my bus let say 3" for $h!t$ and Giggles. how would the bus do offroad? would it be comprable to let say a stock beetle with a bit of a lift? or would the weight of a big girl loaded with camper equipment just kick it's butt and cause it to get stuck in themuck. i ask because i have seen so many folks that have raised there bus buti am concerned with the already top heavy vehicle being raised even higherwould cause not only handling issues but not really help it off road, i meanit's already got some awesome ground clearance. opinions anyone? _________________________________________________________________ Get a FREE Web site, company branded e-mail and more from Microsoft Office Live! http://clk.atdmt.com/MRT/go/mcrssaub0050001411mrt/direct/01/
