ok let me tell you a story about vanagons, there is the salvage yard in little rock that used to have a bus. well me and dad went there yesterday to see if they have some parts for mine. he said yea there is one in the other lot on the left. well we went over there and guess what it was. an 85 vanagon watercooler. well i saw it turned around and walked back to the truck. well the owner of the yard said did you see it? i said yea but there isn't anything i can get off of it because it is water cooled. he said no it isn't it is a vanagon. and i said why is there radiator hoses connected to it, why are there no cooling fins on the heads or cylinders, why is there a water pump? he said it was an aircooled engine so then i said what year model is it and he said 85 well from there the guy got owned. i gave him the complete history of the late bay and early vanagon as far as i know it. including the last year of the aircooled vanagon model, when certain features were offered, the differences in the heat etc. he then just said oh ok.

it was funny then me and dad got in the ford danger ranger and drove off the guys jaw was still dropped.
