Just look at the production numbers for sedans compared to convertibles.
makes me want to bid-
Sedan: 52,221 (1958); 84,677 (1959)
Convertible: 3,261 (1958); 4,180 (1959)

Awright, you guys just had to make me go look up the VIN. All you can tell
from the photos is that it is a post oval car and earlier than the large
tailights, i.e. it could be anything from a 58 through 61. VIN, assuming
that the # given is correct, indicates that it was built about mid model
year 59, probably built about December 58 or January 59.
