The last time I went to Buses by the Arch in St. Louis, there was a group there from New York City (get a rope) that had blown an engine on the way there. stopped at a roadside park, had a spare and changed engines, and then while one was driving, the other one was in the back rebuilding the engine they had just pulled. Of course these are the same guys we pissed off because one of them was spraying WD-40 on a deck lid hinge and we told him to be careful because it is a rust inhibitor. Nobody else could do an engine swap in a Wal-Mart parking lot with just a floor jack. VW's are great.
