I had a 69 bus that I hauled music equipment in, in the early 70's (How
it all started plus my dad was a VW salesman from 63 to 71)...

Just 2 front seats ... in the bus.

I'd carry:

Hammond B3 Organ w/ 2 Leslie Speakers plus bass pedals.

PA equipment stacked to the top of the bus when at times I'd slammed on
the brakes and the equipment would pin me against the steering wheel and
front dash....give it a little gas and the stuff would slide back...

Oh the days of rock and roll.

The pint I guess here is I wonder how much weight I carried back then,
it was full and heavy.

Trey

the bus itself weighs 3141lbs and it can haul up to 1885lbs

this is based on the 1973 bus with a 1.7 in it. it says top speed 78
miles
an hour but for some reason in 77 they lowerd that top speed to 75. to
be
honest with you i won't go over 65 in mine and currently i won't even go

that fast ;-)
