Uh, which Westy? The patina og paint 66 still looks the same. The restored 65
still looks the same.

to say hi to you at the Classic. The red panel sure is looking good. How's
your westy doing? Any new pics of it?

Jeff: Most auto supply stores carry this, think I got my last can at a NAPA
store. Worst case scenario you may have to go to a auto paint supplier like
the PPG or Dupont dealer. What you want is the can that says 3M General Trim
Adhesive-clear and the part # is 08088. Follow the directions on the can. For
best results you spray both surfaces, allow them a couple of minutes to set up,
they get real tacky, then press them together. Try not to get it on the
painted surfaces where you don't want it. Best to use masking tape and mask
off surfaces where you do not want the bonding agent.

locally (Lowes/Home Depot)? Also, did you spray the door, the stripping, or
both?

Jeff: The best thing I have found is the 3m trim adhesive that comes in an
aerosol can. If you need the part # let me know and I will go look.

for the cargo door weather stripping? I was thinking an indoor/outdoor
silicone material from a hardware store should work.

Also I am replacing some of the rubber seals engine compartment, doors. If
there are any tricks let me know

Thanks in advance for the suggestions.
