Somewhere around Naples Tx.  And guys/gals; there was no intent to bash bays.
I just thought it was the weirdest story I have ever heard of the demise of a
bus.  And it may even be a wedgie.  The lady was not sure of the year but her
description sounded like a bay.  And yes, I would love to see pictures.  I was
so taken by the story and trying to keep my composure on the phone that I could
not bring myself to ask for pictures.

I am bay-curious.

I love those green pop top westies with the green plaid interior.

Someone needs to check out the storm shelter and report back with pictures.
Where is this bus tragedy Sammie?

We should not be Bay bashing. Everyone knows that they are OK. Now, Vanagons
and Eurovans, those are just ugly junk.

My Bay Window Bus will never be a storm cellar.  He is just as fantastic as any
Split Window!  I used to think you were half decent, Sammie.  I'm not so sure
now.

OK, now I have heard it all:  Just called a lady chasing down a lead on some
bus parts for sale.  She starts listing off the parts and I could tell
immediately this was from a later bay bus; which meant I wasn't interested.
But I finally got around to asking her what happened to the bus, since she
couldn't describe it very well and didn't know what year it was.  Well she said
"we buried it."  I said; "you buried it?'  And she said; "yes, we made a storm
cellar out of it."

I just couldn't bring myself to ask for pictures and it's too far away to go
see for myself.  But I now know what we can do with bay busses when they reach
the end of their life.
