OK guys, just wanted to let ya'll know why I have not been out on the net
lately.
Not sure how many of ya'll remember when I got real sick in July 09 and spent
26 days in at the VA hospital with a fever of 104.3 for almost 31 days.
Well my blood count was showing cancer somewhere back then and since then.
The VA has sent me to all kinds of doctors, specialist both at the VA and
civilian doctors and have done more that 300 test to include several bone
marrow test since 09 looking for the cause of upside down numbers in my white
blood count.
I had a full body CT and MRI with and without contrast 10 months ago and
nothing showed up.
Well I had another done 4 1/2 weeks ago and a small mast showed up on my left
adrenal gland.
Dr's say that most are non cancerous, but since my blood has been showing
cancer they are pretty sure that it is.
They are calling it an adrenocortical carcinoma.
I have had the symptoms of Cushing's Syndrome since around the time I fell ill
in 09.
I will be having surgery sometime next month or the beginning of February with
treatment to follow.
I am hopeful since it seems to be very slow growing and has been spotted early
enough.
I ask that you all keep my family and me in your prayers and thoughts.
I will let ya'll know when all this will be done, but I do not expect it till
after the New Year.
