Hey, when I towed to the Cal Classic last year we had 75-80 mph headwinds in
West TX. Jack Flash in his big motored split window was traveling I 40 east of
Albugurque at the same time and encountered 100 mph head winds. Said he could
only make headway in 3rd gear.

Sailing in a bus only works when you are traveling with the wind. There
ain't no tacking on the Interstate.

Think Green. We could rig a sail and catch those high plains winds. 70 miles
tops. It would be
like a real prarie schooner.

Naw! I was talking about driving it. Figured I could make about 50 miles a
day. With a tail wind.

That's on a trailer right?

You forget, I have a slightly overkill DC that can make it in about a day.

You otta get something fast, like my panel van. It would only take me 4 months.

JUDSON powered.

It'll only take 5 months and 200 sets of ear plugs.

Unfortunately Leaders don't get elected, Politicians do.

I think I'll just hop in the Barndoor and head to Canada.

Yep, what this country lacks is for the leaders to step up. Think the true
leaders are all riding around in a VW bus trying to get away from it all.

Just think about it... Your choices for President this year are one or more of
the following combinations:

The First Black President.
The First Muslim President.
The First Woman President.
The First Ex President living in the white house with the current President.
A real "Manchurian" candidate.

Ennis isn't about politics, it's about VWs and *Control*

I knew when I made that statement that some wiseacre would come up with a
Hillary or Obama comment.

  FYI only......no political comments necessary.

In the process of working on our club's newsletter and the calendar of events
I got the dates for Ennis this year. Bug In is June 1. Bug Out is September 7.
