44 sounds like the max under max load. My 1/2 ton Dodge truck takes 44 psi max but, I run them at 36 psi. Operating pressure is lower than the max. Most cars have a 32-36 psi operating psi. If you run 44 psi you'd probably wear a bald strip right in the center of the tire.

That's your problem right there! you're supposed to use an air hose. The Magnifying glass is good for killing ants.

Everyone will make fun of me next time we are together because I

Back in the 70s somebody was selling pieces of 2x4 as "gas savers"
you put the piece of wood behind your gas pedal and it prevented
you from stomping down. I asked my step dad about it and he
remembers that during WWII they indeed did put pieces of wood
behind the gas pedals to save fuel.

Unless you have Chinese tires in which case when they get hot
they'll explode. You're also forgetting that Summer is
blowout season in TX and you can tell by the amount of blown
retreads and tires you see littering 635 in Dallas.

Yes, check your tires but more importantly stay off the
throttle pedal. Just go easy on the gas pedal...

Point is: they could make it easier to find. An act of
            congress, I guess.

Proper tire pressure is just a lot of hot air..

            get it?

            hot air?

            Oh never mind..
