I don't think I would buy a welder from Harbor freight. I think we have had this discussion about what is good to buy there and not. Sand paper and "expendables", stuff you use up, are good from there, but machinery has not served me well. I have had a reciprocating saw literally fall apart in my hands, a drill press where ,despite all my efforts, the chuck would not stay attached, and several air tools that didn't last long. 90 days is about right for the life span.

Tractor supply has made me happy. Their prices are higher, but you have less chance of holding a tool that turns into a boat anchor late Friday night with the job half done.

Anybody know how to repair a 220v welder? The feeder has a mind of its own. Could be the motor, could be the board. Don't know. What sucks is I only have about 10 hours on this Harbor Freight MIG but I am 3 months out of the 90 day warranty.
