Just wanted to tell you about an upcoming event if your in the DFW area Nov.
14th-16th. For the last 4 years Das Klub has hosted its annual Thanksgiving
camp out, and this year we want to invite as many VWs to join us as possible.
We usually have about 6-8 sites at Pilot Knoll campground on the shores of Lake
Lewisville. We we will be deep frying two turkeys at the site and bringing lots
of sides. We usually have around 30 plus in attendance.Feel free to join us,
everyone is welcome. The park lets us park 2 buses per site and each site is
25.00 a night. Each site has electric and water and the showers at the park are
pretty good. Lots of shady trees too. The address for the park is
218A Orchid Hill Rd.

We have sites 31-36 so please get your spot nearby if possible. We may have a
few extra spots open us as the event gets closer, check with me if your
