Just got back from vacation last night. We aren't as brave as Dan and Katrina so we flew to New Mexico, rented a car and spent the next 6 days traveling through northern Arizona, southern Utah and ended up in Durango to visit our son, Alex, who is working at a camp there again this summer. VW Count: Bugs - dead - 10+, alive - 4 or 5 Split Window buses - none seen Bays - dead - 10+, alive - 2 (one seen driving into Bryce Canyon), nice camper for sale in Cortez, NM. Vanagons - dead - 3, alive - more than you can count Eurovans - (from Trey's post I guess we need to start watching for these also) - 2 (one with a parking ticket under the wiper blade) This was my first trip to see Bryce Canyon NP, Arches NP, Canyonlands NP, etc. If you ever have a chance, go. The scenery is amazing. We were planning to drive the vanagon, but decided we would rather have more time to look around in Utah instead of driving through Texas and NM. Maybe next time (and two weeks of vacation). Ronnie --------------------------------- Get the Yahoo! toolbar and be alerted to new email wherever you're surfing.
