I was driving home from dinner tonight with Claudette in the Baja. We stopped
for some smokes for her a a quick stop. Got back in, started, pulled the light
switch, no lights. We were four miles from home and it was dark. I didn't have
a single tool with me, Stupid I know. I had a brain storm. Run a jumper from
the hot side of the fuse panel to the dim side of the the light circuit. of
course the dash panel cover is bolted in no tools..........RIP. Grabbed a
ground jumper, hooked the lights direct and made it home safe. VW
