The first suspect for an internal chirping noise is the speedo cable or the 
internals of the speedo.  Though in my case I can no longer hear high pitched 
chirping noise, so I have to depend on my spouse to say "what's that chirping 
noise" to which my reply is:  "what noise?"

Well, after jacking up my bus all around looking for the "chirping" noise, 
everything seemed fine.

One more drive to see if I can figure out where the noise is coming from.

SPEEDOMETER!

Here I was freaking out for 650 miles waiting for a wheel to fall off and pass 
me on the highway, and all it was is my speedometer.
