Volkswagen repair shop- Baton Rouge=2CLA
Went down I-10 to 12 to 190=2E=2E=2E
So we left work at 2=3A00 p=2Em=2E on Friday and headed for Baton =
Rouge=2EThe weather was just wonderful=2E The drive was great=2E Bus =
ran very well =2C once again=2E We arrived in Baton Rouge at 8=3A00 p=2Em=
=2E =
Dan called E=2EJ=2E to find out where Mrs=2EGoldie=92s Hamburgers was=2C=
=
we were on 190(also called Florida)=2E So all we had to find was find =
Flannery Rd=2E then we was going to be at the Baton Rouge =
Aircoolers meeting place=2E We ate hamburgers =26 onion rings=2Cwe =
were so hungry so we really didn=92t say much to anyone until after =
we ate=2E =2EWe chatted with E=2EJ=2E=2CSusan=2CGary=2C etc=2EWe stayed a=
t E=2EJ=2E=92s =
house in the driveway=2E E=2EJ=2E =26 his wife offered for us to stay in =
their =
bedroom=2C of course Dan =26 I couldn=92t do that=2E Especially since tha=
t =
is the reason Dan =26 I went to Baton Rouge was to camp and go to =
the show on Saturday=2E E=2EJ=2E and his wife Victoria made us =
breakfast=2Cthen we left for the show at 10a=2Em=2E Free show=2E Free =
Jumbalaya =26 drinks=2E I got a =248=2E00 show t-shirt and a free show t-=
shirt from last year=2E Dan =26 I won the =93Long Distance Award=94!!! =

Thor got lots of attention also=2E There was 2 cool looking Trikes=2C 3 =
buses=2C 2 Ghia=92s=2C 3 Dunebuggie=92s=2C 1 very cool Speedster=2C 1 MG =
kit =
car=2C a very sweet red single cab =2C2 new bettles=2C and lots of bug=92=
s=2E =
Total Volkswagens =2C60=2E Show ended at 3=3A00 p=2Em=2E =
Left at 4 =3A00=2EWe went back to E=2EJ=2E=92s house and ordered pizza=2C=

watched Monty Python=92s Holy Grail=2C then went to bed=2E Got up and =
then headed back to Houston at 9 a=2Em=2E The trip back was good =2C =
bus ran very well once again=2C and the weather was great=2E Our trip =
to Baton Rouge was definately worth it because of the nice =
Volkswagen people we met and the show was great also=2E E=2EJ=2E =26 his=
=
family was so nice to let us stay at his house =2Ceat his food =2C and us=
