now that i think about it a friend of mine had a problem setting time on a motor once. 3 carbeurators 4 distributors later he finnaly tore down the brand new motor, didn't find a single thing wrong with it. put it back together and she fired right up. to this day he doesn't know what was wrong with it, all i know is he lost an eye brow in the process due to it backfiring through the carb...thank god for glasses.
