It tries. It stutters, stumbles, backfires.
I asked about the run-on solenoid because the original German 30 pict-3
doesn't have one, at all. Nothing to plug.
I got it to at least start again by advancing the timing back to the
"wrong spot" (set static at "0" -- TDC). With timing at the proper 10
BTDC static I couldn't get it to start at all. I still can't get it to
idle so I can put a gun on it and time to 27 - 30 total advance since
it has a 009 installed.
This is annoying. It ran fine for 1000 miles. That seems to be my
personal breaking point. That's about how many miles the Raby motor
sitting in the broken-rear-end-Rivi has on it.
