Yes, I will be in the market for a H case for my 66 westy. I'll be sure to
contact Oak Hill when the time comes. I have always heard good things about
them and that price sounds good. Thanks Sammie.

 Jeff

Jeff: Seeing your post jogged my memory. Aren't you the one looking to build
a stock looking H case engine for your bus? I remembered to ask Daniel Watts
(Oakhill Auto) if they had any H cases laying around. He said they probably
did; but will only sell one ready to build. e.g., they will line bore it, deck
it (mill the sides of the case properly to accept the cylinder jugs) and put in
stud inserts. Price of the case plus the machine work runs a total of
$200-$250 depending on how much machine work they have to do to make it ready.
Not bad I guess when you consider that a new case costs around $500 now. I
received a new JC Whitney catalog the other day (don't know why I am on their
mailing list) and they have new AS 41 cases, asking price $795.
