And there's a splitty in The Hunter and in Dirty Harry (all of them) and my fav
is in 'it came from outer space' where a barndoor engine compartment houses
special scientific instruments.

In the animated movie, Planet 51, all the cars are
levitated and look like our cars, just different, but one is a Splitty Bus.
Maybe a ’63.
