Denis: These things are the front splash pan. They are held in place by
about 12 6x1.00 bolts, most of which are usually broken off in the holes of old
busses. Lot of drilling and tapping. I have several, one extra one I think.
Going price for these is about $50-$60. Bought one on the samba a while back
for $50 plus about $10 shipping. Have some photos, I think, of one installed
on my panel van. Also have one on my restored westy. You are welcome to look
when you are at the Nac show and if I can find the photos I will shoot you a
couple. These guys are not really that rare but lots of busses are missing
them because you have to take them off every time you work on anything under
the front end, and lots of people simply took them off and threw them away. if
you want one you can have my extra for around $60 or so. I usually blast these
guys and paint them. If you want it like new blasted and painted then the
price goes up. Tell way-out to go jump in the lake.

I need to see a picture of the pan that goes under the pedals on the
pre-67. I thought it was called a belly pan, but there seems to also exist a
pan that goes under the chassis in the middle. I am looking for the forward
one. Derrick here at Way Out Salvage has one, ONE. He won't sell it to me, he
wants to get a mold made and make re-pops.
The only person that I am positive has on is Paul.(by the way do you guys
know that is where he puts all the magnets and bumper badges).
