Ok, I just talked through with Kirk and added Sammie's input about his '60. We
have two different styles of pedal pans, not three. The '59 SC that we used to
have took the early style and our '61 takes the later style. So it sounds like
the change took place in that '60-'61 time-frame. One thing that I seem to
remember being different, in addition to the hole cut to clear the steering
box, is that the bolt hole pattern is not the same between the two styles. I'm
not so sure it isn't better to buy the correct pan as opposed to modifying the
wrong style.
I hope that helps clarify,
Peter

Denis I just looked at mine hanging in the garage.  I have one extra early.
Lates will fit on early bus fairly easily.  Early will fit on late but only
with extensive cutting of the splash pan.  I don't know when they changed.  I
know that my 60 has the early and the 65 has the late.  Does anyone out there
know when they changed?  By the way; the repop shown on the link is an early
one.  And the difference between the two is how the sterring box is located and
the way the pan fits around the sterring box.
