I used Dynamat which is very expensive stuff but supposedly the
bestest. The front side is silvery and the back is thick, sticky
tar-like stuff. You just peel off the backing a stick it in place and
it ain't ever coming off. http://www.dynamat.com/ (Call all of the
car stereo places around where you live and get the price on the big,
bulk box - 9 pieces of 18"X32" or 36 sq ' - most places charge the
suggested $270 but I found a place that did sell it for significantly
less.)

If you don't want to spend as much I think you should take Mike's
advice. Other stuff out there has a felt-like backing which would
absorb moisture and also requires that you glue it in which just seems
messy to me.

Or maybe pamper yourself a little and use some Dynamat where it works
the best and be thrifty and use the Home Depot stuff in the other
places.

I hope this helps. I have put a lot of thought and energy into my '66
but it still does not have an engine or a stereo in it so maybe others
know better.

Julie
