Ice, paper plates and plastic cups. But all you people need to come for Friday night if at all possible. It's when Dan parties. ----- Original Message ----- From: "ATX" <atx_bus@xxxxxxxxx>

Yes I had good fortune today. I figured there would be a slim chance but it was worth a phone call. Luckily they had space.

What can I bring beside an MPR local. It is definately on my way up I35. Paul let me know if you need a ride.

Really what can I bring?

Jeff, you must have great good fortune. When you asked about the area everyone sent links and advice before I even had a chance. I agreed with all of the suggestions, but I thought that there is no way you are going to get anywhere near Devil's Den around the 4th of July weekend. It is a very cool place. It has a huge spring fed swimming pool and a dam, I think it has caves and miles of hiking steep trails. It is so steep down to the creeks that there is no cell reception. The closest fun cruise from my house is probably War Eagle Mill. An old style working water wheel mill where they grind flour and corn. We are going to do some close by lake swimming. It's a great area. Jan and I looked all around the country before we settled here.

Check out Turpentine Creek Reserve (probably not the
right name, but close) in Eureka Springs...Lions and tigers
and bears! Really a neat place that rescues LARGE critters.
Devils Den State Park is cool, too.

Neil...That was Fidel Castro.
We are still planning to be there (Shana,
Owen and myself). Probably for Saturday night only,
and camping if there is space for a tent. Any
suggestions for things to do around Springdale? I
have
a week of vacation and we are planning to do some
exploring.
