The bearings will be here today or tomorrow. I ordered them before I found
out how much the local guy wanted to do the work. I've had the clutch parts
since the TX Classic.

And, I still work when everybody else is off and I'm off when y'all are
working. And even if I weren't, I can't help with work on my own bus
without making my arm take even longer to heal.

I'm calling around to a few other mechanics in the area to see if I can
find an old-timer who knows what he's doing and can cut some time off the
bill.

I specifically didn't call you because you have two of your own in "active
repair mode" and you have "employment issues" to deal with that will take
away from the time you have available to work on VWs.

Thanks,

Gerald
