WFAA had an article of what's happening in Lewisville. Theives have been using a cordless drill and actually puncturing holes in the tank (SUVs mostly) to get the gas. SUVs are higher up and have a lot more fuel so they're considered the better targets. Repair bills are estimated at $1500 or so to install a new tank. -----Original Message----- >From: Neil <nbmdude@xxxxxxxxx> >Sent: May 25, 2008 11:43 PM >To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >Subject: [tcb] Seals and Lockin' Gas Caps > >Cool, thanks Denis...gonna be orderin' some of that, >for both buses! >BTW, Autozone carries lockin' gas caps for early bay >windows...item #5763 (thank you WIll!)... >Apparently I ain't the only one loosing gas to >thieves...the Autozone I went to in Irving was out of >nearly ALL their lockin' gas caps...sellin' out... > >--- Denis Dodson <coocoo@xxxxxxx> wrote: > >> See my other post.
