The empi one is the way to go. They are almost an exact copy of the original
Westy rack and look good. Shop around though. that $299 is apparently the
list price and you can find them cheaper from various empi dealers around. I
bought mine from Jack Wenk at Black Gold in Arlington who handles empi stuff.
A sort of going rate from VW parts dealers who do empi stuff is about $250.
Think I paid Wenk $235 for mine and he had assembled it. But that was about 3
years ago.
