I have had one on my 65 Westy for about 4+ years and it still looks like new.
The only ones that I have seen with problems are ones that sit out in the
elements all the time and they do not weather well. The powder coat fades and
the wood weathers. Since yours is to be a show bus then I assume it will sit
inside. And by the way; make sure your garage door is 7'6" or higher or the
rack will not clear, assuming you have a stock height bus.
